I'm Marlene Zerweck, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #46386), and I've spent over 20 years helping people navigate the complexities of relationships ~ both with others and with themselves.

Over time, I've come to understand something deeply important.

Most of what we struggle with makes sense.

The ways we cope, avoid, overextend, stay quiet, or question ourselves are often rooted in experiences that shaped us long before we had the awareness or language to understand them.

My role isn't to fix you or tell you who to be.  It's to help you understand yourself more clearly ~ so you can begin to make choices that feel more aligned, grounded, and authentic.

I work with individuals who are:

• Feeling stuck in relationship patterns they can't explain
• Recovering from emotional or narcissistic abuse
• Navigating codependency or other-focused ways of being
• Trying to reconnect with their voice, needs, and sense of self

I integrate a depth-oriented and relational approach to help clients understand how the past is showing up in the present ~  without shame, but with clarity.

In addition to therapy, I created Sage Advice (www.sageadvicecollective.com) as a way to bring insight and education into everyday life ~ because healing doesn't just happen in the therapy room.  It happens in conversations, in awareness, and in the small moments where something finally clicks.

I don't believe in perfection or quick fixes.  I believe in understanding, honesty, and meaningful change over time.
